As part of the Rider Senior Year Experience program, a team of Princeton Toastmasters, Barrie Byron, Nancy Sun, Dick Macho, led by George Philip, gave the work shop "Going Up! The One-Minute Elevator Speech"  on February 22nd, 2011. The presentation aimed to prepare the students with the speaking skills to present themselves positively when encountering a potential employer.

The information that Princeton Toastmasters provided via the Powerpoint presentation, through play-acting and personal coaching, was integral to the students' understanding of the need to create a clear and concise message.  The skills that students gained through this work shop will be useful throughout their careers. The presentation was well received and is one of the many projects Princeton Toastmasters gets involved with to help people improve their communication skills.
