About
An Introduction
The mission of our club is to provide a supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, thus fostering self-confidence and personal growth.
As one of the oldest clubs in the area, we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in May, 2009. With more than 70 members we are possibly the largest club in the Toastmasters District, a rich conglomerate of local, national and international cultures.
Visitors to our club immediately notice that we strive to include a variety of speakers — speaking proficiency ranging from professional to beginner working on the basics of presentation, controlling nervousness and developing self confidence in a non-threatening safe atmosphere.
We are privileged to host a number of guests at our meetings. Many return to join our Toastmaster family.
The best way to learn about our club is to visit a meeting. All meetings are open to the public, and guests are always welcome.
